
Potsdam is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Germany, also known as the City of Kings or the City of Castles, located 30km to the south of Berlin. The tour includes the following:
- WANNSEE VILLA, a beautiful villa on the edge of the lake, where the conference on the Final Solution to the Jewish Question took place, led by the ‘Butcher of Prague’, Reinhard Heydrich.
- GLIENICKE BRIDGE, frontier between Americans and Soviets of the Berlin Wall, the bridge that became famous during the Cold War, and where Soviet and American spies were exchanged.
- CECILIENHOF CASTLE, castle in the English style belonging to Queen Cecilia, where the Potsdam Conference took place from 17th July to 2nd August 1945 between the three great men: Churchill, Truman and Stalin, to decide on the social and geographic fate of conquered Germany.
- ALEXANDROVKA COLONY, original colonial cottages with Siberian architecture, built on the orders of King Frederick Wilhelm of Prussia, for the choir of Russian singers.
- DUTCH QUARTER, the largest Dutch quarter in Europe with Dutch architecture, build for the Dutch immigrants in 1737, who greatly enriched Prussian culture.
- SANSSOUCI CASTLE, from the French ‘without worries’, this castle in the Versaille style from the most important king of Prussia, Frederick the Great.
